Software engineering and marketing, built as one system

Exana Digital is a technology company and a digital agency at the same time. That combination is the whole point: the two halves of getting a business online are usually bought from two different suppliers, and the seam between them is where projects quietly fail.

Why we exist

The pattern repeats everywhere. A company hires a developer for the product and an agency for the marketing. Six months later the site is slow, the campaign points at a page that does not convert, tracking was never installed, and each supplier has a convincing explanation involving the other one. Nobody lied. There was just no one whose job it was to own the whole thing.

Exana was founded on the opposite arrangement. One company scopes the product and the campaign together, in one written plan, with one point of accountability. When the site is slow and the ads underperform, there is nobody to blame but us — which is exactly the pressure that makes the work good.

Read our story

That is also why we say no more often than an agency is supposed to. We will argue you out of features you do not need yet, in writing. We will tell you a service does not include the thing you assumed it included, before you buy it rather than after. Naming the limit is not a weakness in the offer. It is the offer.

How we work

  1. Understand the work before designing the software

We start with how your business actually runs today, not the version in the manual. Systems built on the org chart instead of the real process are systems nobody uses.

  2. Write the scope down, then hold ourselves to it

Deliverables, milestones, and acceptance criteria are agreed before anything is built. "Done" is defined at the start. Anything outside it is a change order you approve first.

  3. Ship in stages you can see

Progress is measured against the milestones we agreed, not against a status update written to sound busy. You see the work while it is still cheap to change.

  4. Hand it over properly

Source code, documentation, deployment, and admin access are yours. Accounts stay in your name. Every build ends with a 30-day warranty on delivered scope, and a support plan is a defined thing you can buy, not a favour you have to ask for.

The detail is the work

From the choice of a colour to the shape of a database query, the difference between an ordinary product and a good one is a long series of small decisions nobody sees. We spend time on the loading state, the empty state, the Arabic line-break, the query that will be slow at ten thousand rows. That is not perfectionism. It is what makes something still feel right a year after launch.

Arabic is a working language here

We work in Arabic, English, and Turkish. In Arabic that means scoping calls, documentation, and right-to-left interfaces designed in Arabic from the start — not an English layout flipped at the end, with the text stretched into a box it was never measured for. Arabic copy is rewritten from the idea, never translated word for word. If a sentence reads like a translation, it is a defect and we fix it.

Built by three founders, run by every specialty the work needs

Exana Digital was founded by three partners who together cover the whole distance between an idea and a business that runs: one leads technology — architecture, engineering, and delivery; one leads marketing — brand, content, and growth; one leads business and operations — clients, process, and accountability. The point of that split is simple: when the product, the marketing, and the commitments live under one roof, nothing falls between suppliers, and one signature stands behind all of it.

Around them works a bench of specialists — engineers, designers, video and motion producers, media buyers, copywriters in Arabic and English — brought onto each project in exactly the shape the work demands. You don't rent a fixed team; you get the right hands for your project, coordinated by people whose names are on the company.

What we're built to build

Capabilities, not promises: this is the standard of engineering and marketing work we design for on every project that needs it.

  • Architectures designed to scale from your first hundred users to millions — without a rebuild.

  • Zero-downtime deployment as standard practice: releases ship while the business keeps running.

  • Compliance-grade builds: GDPR and KVKK by default, HIPAA-grade patterns for healthcare work.

  • Security engineered in, not bolted on: encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access, full audit trails, hardened infrastructure.

  • Arabic-first, bilingual by design: RTL interfaces designed in Arabic from the start, never flipped at the end.

  • Real-time systems: live dashboards, tracking, chat, and notifications built on event-driven foundations.

  • Offline-capable mobile apps for field teams and unreliable networks — iOS and Android from one codebase.

  • Payments done properly: multiple gateways, split payments for marketplaces, COD reconciliation, subscription billing.

  • Integrations across ERP, CRM, accounting, shipping, and government e-invoicing systems — your tools, finally talking.

  • AI where it earns its place: automation of repetitive operations, intelligent search, document processing, and assistants trained on your business.

  • Observability as a habit: monitoring, alerting, and 99.9% uptime targets backed by systems, not hope.

  • Full ownership handover: source code, documentation, credentials, and the knowledge to walk away from us — which is why clients don't.

What we hold to

Say the true thing first

Including when it costs us the sale. If your budget does not fit the scope, the honest answer is a smaller scope or a different supplier, not a quiet reduction in quality you find out about at launch.

No number without a source

We do not publish statistics we cannot point at, and we do not write them into your content either. Anything requiring a specific figure comes from you, or it gets flagged as unverified before it goes out.

The system belongs to the client

Code, documentation, accounts, and access are handed over. No hostage-taking, no undocumented setups only we can maintain, no platform you cannot leave.

Process, not promises

We commit to what we control: testing before launch, performance checks before handover, written reports of what happened. We do not guarantee rankings, revenue, or what the market will do next.

Consistency is a discipline, not a taste

The same colours, the same voice, the same terminology, across the product and every channel that points at it. That is easier to promise when one company owns both — which is the reason we built it this way.

Who we work with

Small and mid-sized businesses in the Gulf and the wider region that are digitising how they operate. Startups anywhere that need a credible first version rather than a hundred features. And international small and mid-sized businesses that want senior-standard work at a cost that fits an SMB, with working hours overlapping both Europe and the Gulf.

We are not an enterprise vendor and we do not chase government work. Knowing who we are not for is what lets us be genuinely good for the three groups above.

The short version

Exana Digital is a technology company and digital agency based in Istanbul, founded in 2025. We build web and mobile products, cloud infrastructure, and the design, video, and campaigns that grow them — engineering and marketing under one roof. We work in Arabic, English, and Turkish with clients across the Gulf, the region, and beyond.
